Papa Roach!

As I mentioned earlier, there is plenty of wildlife here in Australia and given a single thread of a chance, most of it will occupy your flat in a matter of seconds.

Within 2 hours of moving into the flat and eating a pizza, there was already a trail of ants leading into the kitchen from the balcony. I've also seen roaches in the bins downstairs on every street I've walked on (those ones are mostly squashed though).

So the battle of the insects had begun. Their losing though, as I went straight to the supermarket and bought some insect spray "specially designed for crawling insects" and sealed the whole flat with it.

Ha ha we are impenetrable to invading insect forces and I've not seen an ant since. I bet Johnny Rico wishes he had some of that stuff during "Starship Toopers". Would have made life easy for him!
