Australia Day

Not really sure what was being celebrated but we had a good time anyway. There was lots of bands and ice-cream and flags and stalls. However, distinct lack or beer and drunks. Bit like the west end festival but with no wasted neds.

As the picture below shows, the Aussies were right into it. But the whole thing seemed to be a bit pointless. I mean it's great having a public holiday but can you imagine "Scotland Day"? What would be the point of that?
